Exclusively breastfeeding Raina...

Breastfeeding....i've been exclusively breastfeeding my baby raina for 7months++ already..alhamdulillah..syukran jaziran di atas nikmat dan rezeki dr Allah..mudah-mudahan mama dpt breastfeed raina for another 6month++++..=)

Sebenarnye rmai yg dh mula sedar akan kepentingan breastfeeding ni..kat ofis pon rmai kwn2 yg mmg exclusively breastfeed their babies n ade yg dh nk msuk 2years dah..sgt2 lah kagum dgn mereka..tp ade jgk yg xdpt nak breastfeed disbbkan susu mereka x byk n 'demand is higher than supply'..thats why they have to give their babbies formula milk..xpe..mungkin rezeki mereka bkn di situ..sesungguhnya Allah Maha Adil..=)

I wanna share my experience dgn bakal2 mommies out there psl how i managed to fully breastfeeding until now..for sure hati mesti kental..=)during my confinement, mmg x buat stok lgsg..milk production at that time mmg exceed demand.plus ms tu mmg x dinafikan kesedaran utk fully breastfeed ni agak kurang..penah jgk bagi raina formula milk when me having high blood pressure, waktu mlm my mum taking care of raina while me rest as advised by Dr.nasib baiklah raina xsuke minum formula milk..so mama have to breastfeed u otherwise raina menangis sbb lapar..

Bile dh start keje, terpaksa buat stok utk hantar ke nursery.So far,production waktu tu still byk..kat ofis pump 2-3x jgk n dpt smpai 16-18oz per day..kat ofis plk ade fridge so sngla nk simpan hasil perahan b4 bwk blk umah after ofis..mcm tulah my daily routine...even bz mcm mne pon, still curik2 ms pegi pump sekejap demi raina sufiah..=)I used Spectra 3 pump n every day mmg angkut pegi ofis..its already 7months i used this pump n still x penah rosak lg..

Tips how to managed EBM stok???bleh google, byk article n entries yg dibuat oleh blogger2 about breastfeeding tips..antaranye Sarakids and Kellymom....x susah pon nk handle stok susu ni..bile dh slalu, rs mcm dh terbiase n dgn sendirinye kite akan rs happy sbb dpt bg susu yg plg TERBAIK dan BERKHASIAT buat anak kite...kalo nak cite psl kebaikan dan khasiat susu ibu ni, rsnyer esk pon x abes..hehe..maybe next time i can share some info about breastmilk nih..;)

owh yer, mesti rmai yg rs mcm leceh bile nk kuar jenjalan n tpakse nk breastfeed the baby..nnt nk kene cari nursing room lah, itulah inilah..hmmm mmg leceh bile difikirkan..but for me, thats not an excuse for me to stop breastfeeding my baby...i always bring stok bile kuar jenjalan n sumtime i just direct breastfeed raina in public..malu???at first mmg rs malu sgt tp bile dh study ttg breastfeed in public ni, rsnyer byk caranyer...as long we cover up what need to be covered...=)for me, be confident..hehe..if they stared at you, just smile to them...;)

When breastfed babies do get any of the above, they are often less severe. My own girls are now almost 7 and 4 and a half. To date, neither one of them has had an ear infection and they both hardly ever get sick. I know lots of kids who had tubes in their ears as babies do to too many ear infections. All of these babies were formula fed. Imagining my child being put to sleep so tubes could be put into their ears has always scarred me.

Babies bond and are comforted more One of the benefits of breastfeeding for both moms and babies is the bond. Babies do better with skin to skin contact and breastfeeding supplies that. Also, babies know their moms smell and heart beat and feel safer being close to their moms.
